Our spacy bungalows are outfitted with all the amenities of modern hoteleries. They are built in picturesque using parts of old buildings from Karaikudi and have a extra large panoramic windows on two sides letting light and the spectacular Landscape enter directly into your rooms. From the elevated verandas you can overlook a tropical garden with a great variety of plants and also watch peacock and birds dance and watch the sunset. Our swimming pools is certainly one of the biggest anywhere around and hardly has rivals as far as it’s location Is concerned. The restaurant cum reception is open from all sides and big enough to conduct functions or meetings. You can also dine in the shade of trees or under the open sky in the breeze which is typical for this climatically privileged spot.
The Lobby cum Reception and the Restaurant built in typical Dravidian style of architecture has an area of 4000 sq.ft. It is open on all sides to enable the guests to enjoy the cool breeze from all directions. The view from the Restaurant is a treat to the eye, wherein you can enjoy the beautiful greenery and the rocky mountains. We serve authentic South Indian. North Indian cuisine, besides Continental and Chinese. The specialty of our Restaurant is fresh sea food from the Ocean and fresh fish from the ponds and rivers nearby. In our 12 acres garden, We grow our own vegetables and fruits.
The "View Bar"(under Construction)is perched on top of the rocky mountain with a commanding view of the surroundings taking you to high spirits.
Our Swimming pool covers an area of 6000 sq.ft., thereby making it one of the largest swimming pool in any hotel in Tamilnadu. It is of international standard with treated water.
If one wants to relax, we have a special Ayurveda Massage center (under Construction) to rejuvenate one's body, mind and soul. An Ayurvedic Doctor is available at our Resort-Hotel. We have four separate massage rooms with qualified masseuse. We have special facilities for yoga and meditation.
Promoter
The Proprietor of the Resort is S.RAJU who is a freelance approved tourist guide, approved by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Proprietor was born on 15.8.62 and had his earlier education in 1. Seva Samajam, Guild of Service, Adyar, 2. The Children's Garden School, Mylapore and 3. Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School and subsequently graduated in Swami Vivekananda College, Madras.
Earlier he had worked with Indo Culture Tours, New Delhi for 2 years and later with J.K.Associates, Delhi based where he had submitted detailed survey report to Department of Tourism regarding foreign tourists arrival and their expenditure in South India
Presently Working as an approved tourist guide with good exposure in handling German, Austrian, Swizz, American & English groups throughout India.
He is associated for the past thirty one years with several approved travel agents like Cox & Kings, Surya Travels, Creative Travels, Ind Travels, Sita World Travels (I) Pvt.Ltd., Mercury Travels, Travel House, Bharath Travels, Jet Air & Marvel Travels, Incent Tours, Meridan Holidays, Indo Asia Tours, Trade Wings and Orient Express, etc.
Handled Foreign groups like Jahn Reisen, Tjaereborg, Windrose, Marco Polo Reisen, Reiffeisen, Esco Reisen, Air Tours, Rhz Zurich and many other German speaking groups. For most of these groups worked not only as a tour guide but also as a Tour Leader (Tour Escort)
He has done the first trekking(1988) in South India for Hauser Excursion Internationale in the Idukki and Periyar Dist., and had the privilege of having worked for the Rotel Tours, "Das Rollende Hotel". Has done a through study on the oldest Tribals namely " The Bondas and the Gaddappas " in Orissa
